Kids Say the Darndest Things

I should have been keeping a running journal of all the things E says that make us laugh. Here are just a few from this past week:

(E yelling from the other room while in timeout)..."Sorry mommy. MOMMY. SORRY. Come on, mommy. E IS SORRY!"

His new favorite phrase when he wants something: "Give it back real fast." (Complete with a full swing of the arm toward the object of his affection. This is PROMPTLY replaced with coaching "What do you say?" to which is responds "PLEASE!")

"Mommy, what is that?" (E points to a blemish on my face.) "That's mommy's zit." "Oh, I will fix it," (He says as he kisses my imperfection.)

E was told he couldn't take any of his Christmas presents to Nana's because Santa came to her house too. Arrives at Nana's and goes straight to the Family Room door and pounds on it, saying, "Santa, WHERE ARE YOU? I want presents!"
