Making His List...Checking It Twice...

He hasn't quite figured out that he has to choose the nice over naughty...but he's working on it. He was done with dinner. The toy catalog was just laying in a stack of mail. He reached over and grabbed it and intently examined it. Page by page. Studying each item.

At two and a half he's fully embracing his mother's love of all-things-Christmas! Walking through Walmart he exclaimed, "CHRISTMAS TREE!" Yes, son, it is. "Mama, I want a Christmas tree!" WHAT?! OH BOY! He came home tonight after his sitter had Christmas decor up and again asked for his Christmas tree.

You betcha I'm going to use the innocence of my sweet little child as an excuse to put up the tree early. Last year it went up before Thanksgiving which caused quite a stir...but this year, this weekend, it may be time! Come on, the kid is asking for it - BEGGING FOR IT! Oh Christmas Tree...Oh Christmas Tree...I want to decorate your branches! :)
