Being Silly

I apologize it's been awhile since I've posted pictures. What's new in our world?! Well, Elijah was 16 months old on Wednesday. Oh how time has flown. He got his first set of crayons this week after venturing to story time at Barnes & Noble with "Gramma Donna" (his sitter). Those are still foreign objects to him - unless you count him trying to snack on primary colors. :0)

He was in an exceptionally good mood today - and then that seemed to turn precocious. He was all over the place. Having fun. Laughing at himself. He has this cute deep-chested, in the back of his throat, giggle when he's laughing at himself. He was literally spinning around doing circles in the living room (video to come) and then just lying on his back doing absolutely nothing. Of course, he was determined to stand up in his recliner and that turned ugly. It was the ultimate battle of wills between Elijah and Daddy and, well, you can guess who won. Every time he'd stand up, he'd immediatley look at Ed. As soon as Ed would get into motion to stop him, he'd immediately sit down. Repeat.

He's curious by opening and closing whatever he can and hiding objects inside. Now he's discovered things like the laundry basket where he tries to hide himself!
