14 Months

14 Months Old Today. Daddy came home from work and Elijah was outside in the swing and as soon as he got out of the truck, Elijah said "Hi Da-Da!" No kidding. He says Hi and Da-da, but this was the first time he put the two together.

We headed back to UVA yesterday to see the dermatologist at our pediatrician's referral. She was concerned about hive-like spots that flare up in several places as well as this little red spot that appeared on his cheek when he was about 6 months old.

Thankfully, we got another good report and the hive-like spots are just a mass of cells that can get irritated with stress, heat, pressure, etc. but should be something he grows out of. The red spot is some crazy long name that they also think will fade away by the time he's 2.

Why eat a snack out of a bowl when he can eat it off the floor?!
