Elijah,
You're a growing little man - getting bigger right before our eyes, sleeping a little bit longer at night (5 hours straight through last night!), and the love of our lives. We are so amazed - daily - at how God's providential hand has been upon us from the beginning. We're getting settled into a routine, learning your noises and cries, understanding what you like and need, and fully embracing parenthood. I have to admit I was worried - I wasn't sure if I would bond immediately, if I would instantly feel like a mom - your mom - but it has just come naturally. I know God had been carving out this special place in my heart just for you, Elijah, and you fit so perfectly. Oh how I love you, little boy!
Still praising the Lord - and finally sleeping (sometimes) in the bassinet!

A couple of weeks ago I randomly hit "Next Blog" and your blog popped up. I read your story and have been checking back often to see how your life is changing so beautifully. Your story is an inspiration. Continued blessings for a wonderful life with your adorable bundle of joy!
I can't think of a more deserving couple! Praise the Lord!( I read your blog..I am a friend of Christy Martin's) But I hadn't read it in a couple weeks (busy end of school year activities). Your blog is so inspirational, I honestly just wanted a little encouragement today ....WHAT A SURPRISE!!! Yippee...a BABY!!

Carrie and Ed I love reading updates on little Elijah.. he is an amazing little boy with incredible parents. I love how you have embrassed your new role as a mommy and I love that now you get how much more your heart can expand to another person. Welcome to a new life... It only gets better. :)
