Tonight I decided to try a bath. It worked! You didn't scream but actually rather enjoyed it. You just splashed your hands in the water and kicked your feet.
After bath time, I put on your PJ's and brushed your hair and that's when I discovered a little tuft on top that can be made to stick straight up! Call it a mohawk or an Alfalfa rip off, but it was pretty darn cute!
You enjoyed some time in the boppy. You try so hard to sit up. You noticed the picture on the wall, the lamp beside the bed and you even posed for a few pictures. But it wasn't long before you were tired of that too.
I could say that my feelings are hurt, but I knew it would happen. Daddy has become the one to console you. As soon as he came to the rescue, you calmed down. He held you up close and talked to you and you just stared straight back at him. You kept hitting him on the chin, playing with his goatee. You even gave him eskimo kisses!
Soon, you were in your "spot." This is the place where you can stretch your body out across daddy's chest, tuck your feet underneath you, and bury your face in your little arms. And then you were fast asleep.
Some might say that daddy is spoiling you but it won't be long before you are too big to fit neatly in your "spot." So, while you can, rest little one. You are daddy's boy, and on any given evening, you can drift off to sleep knowing you are safe and loved.

I am so enjoying seeing pictures of Elijah and your beautiful family! The love in your eyes and adoration of your son and your "father" is amazing.
I love that you censored his picture, hee hee. I love your blog - thanks for updating often - it's fun to see Elijah growing up from a distance - I praise God with you Carrie!
