Target vs. Walmart

Spring is finally here! We had a GREAT week with Liberty enjoying spring break and lots of warm weather - nearly 80 on Friday. He wanted to be outside ALL DAY Saturday..and woke up from his nap Sunday asking to go outside, despite the rain. We had friends over and went on play dates and E had lots of quality time with some playmates his size.

He's become obsessed with Thomas (thank Grammy for getting him started) and there's a full-blown train track in the middle of the floor with the accompanying Thomas & Friends engines.

Most recently he discovered toy Lightning McQueen & Mater (from the movie CARS) and those have been his item of choice. Needless to say, whether trains or automobiles (no, we haven't gotten into planes yet), he is ALL BOY.

His preference for Target in the video is purely because Target coincidentally is beside PetSmart. He also asks EVERY TIME we go to Walmart if he can get a prize.

He's picking up on a deep southern accent, asking "what haaaaapppened?" for everything. (Remember, his 2-year-old "Why?" phase has been in the form of "what happened?") Even today, I dropped something and he heard me say "oh no" and he ran all the way from the other room to ask, "What haaaaappppened, mommy?"

He's just too adorable.

In other news, we're anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Autumn's. Aunt Lindsay is due March 24 - or Thursday - but she's already progressing and we're hoping and praying for her to come soon!!!
