It's October?!

Where has the time gone?! We were just wearing shorts and tanks and now we're full-fledged into fall and chilly mornings...but with that comes lots of fun things. Elijah loves the decorated yard of Scarecrows, Pumpkins, Cornstalks and Hay. He also LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the "Punkin Patch" and he talks about it all the time. We may have to go back ... He had fun on the bouncey attractions, running through the pumpkin maze, climbing on the piles of pumpkins and, of course, putting his creativity to work by painting a pumpkin!

He also had his first plane ride after taking a trip to Tennessee to see Poppy before his open heart surgery. He was great on the drive down and thankfully Aunt Lindsay was around to help with the 3-hour layover in the Charlotte Airport...otherwise, one or both of us may have lost our minds! He did great once on the planes (he even konked out on the plane back to Lynchburg before we were even fully in the air!) - but having such wide open spaces like airport terminals to "run free"...let's just say it made for lots of games of chase!
