The Jersey Shore

No, not the show (although I did walk past an episode being filmed, Snooki and all - mind you, I had no idea who she was until this encounter).

But a week at the Jersey Shore, a little bit of sun, a lot of sand and one happy little boy...

This is just a preview of the week. He got to have cookies for breakfast from Park Bakery. He had a wonderful blue sucker from Nana that he got all over. He bummed food off Papa. Rode the rides at the Boardwalk. LOVED going on bike rides. Hated the ocean (and I do mean SCREAMED) but LOVED the sand. Throwing it, playing in it, shoveling it, eating it... Ahh sand.

He had a little playmate, my sister and brother-in-law's nephew, Jimmy. He's 2 1/2. A big difference 6 months makes, but the two were best buds. He learned a lot from Jimmy. They were so cute together.
