It was Tuesday night. We went shopping. I was chasing him through Kohl's. He was dodging me through clothes racks, knocking over piles of clothing, and laughing hysterically all the while. When I picked him up, he fought me to get down. When I tried to hold his hand, he went completely limp. It was a sight! Finally in Target, I put him in the seat of the shopping cart. I no sooner put something in the cart to turn around and catch him climbing out of the seat! That was it! Just down the aisle, I saw them. A kiddie leash - disguised as a stuffed animal backpack. And it was MINE!
You can judge all you want. But you weren't there. You weren't chasing him. You weren't fighting him. You weren't mortified while your almost-two-year-old was making a scene in the middle of the store. I'm happy to say, he likes it...

Still loving his music! He knows exactly which buttons to push to turn on his CD's. And he goes to TOWN on the drums and tamborine.

How great that he likes it! I was just looking at some online tonight because I think our day is coming. Glad to know you won't judge me. :)
I'd do it, too! Nowhere in the Bible does it say thou shalt not put your child on a leash. LOL! ;-)
THAT is too funny. I would do it too except, I KNOW she would find a way to make even that a major struggle. So, I don't go anywhere without my stroller.
Way to go!!
I wonder how long it will be until he figures out how to get the leash off as well?!
