I spent several days in New York City last week attending a college media conference, where I presented and was able to take some of my yearbook staff for training. While there, the 2009 Selah Yearbook was awarded a Silver Crown, being named as one of the top 9 collegiate yearbooks in the country. The book also received the College Media Advisers' Best in Print award for books 304 pages or less, and then was named as a finalist to the Associated Collegiate Press Pacemaker list. It's been six years that I've served as adviser and I'm thankful for this opportunity , the students who've helped make this possible and the accomplishments we've achieved. Thank you, also, for all of you who have faithfully stood by and supported our program.
