Monkey-See Monkey-Do

It was a rainy, gloomy day to start with. Just across the street is a cow pasture and the rain must have brought the cows all the way up to our neighborhood. Ed took Elijah (and his sasquatch umbrella) to see the cows...and they RAN away as fast as Ed could walk toward them. Elijah still enjoyed the field trip.

It was the perfect day for grilled cheese, tomato soup, and an afternoon nap. (Although I didn't get to accomplish the last one on the list!) But after naptime Elijah revealed a new hairdo after his recent haircut.

Elijah has a lot of nicknames: Eli, E, Muffin, Little Love...but I have called him Monkey since he was a baby - for no particular reason. Now our little boy is living up to that nickname. He is climbing on top of the coffee table, climbing out of the bath tub, and today he climbed into the box that actually stacks puzzles. needless to say, he was so proud of himself.

Elijah's new multi-media center. Ed strategically took this picture while "Everybody Loves Raymond" was on. He's trying to already trying to give him a "real dose" of marriage and Frank. (This one's for you, Erin.)
