The Progression of a "No-Touch"

The little table in the corner is off limits. For a lot of reasons, but mainly because it's light enough for E to pull down on him - which has already happened. So it remains a no touch"...it also remains the one thing that he seems to always go back to. And thus the progression of how a No Touch turns into a Time Out.

He literally waits until you are looking and as soon as he knows you're watching him, he starts banging the table into the wall.

This is the "Who me? I'm sorry..." look so he won't get in trouble.

This is the "whining" because he knows he's going to get in trouble.

Notice the release of one hand as if to say "Okay, I'll listen..."

"Mom, you seriously can't be mad at me - look at this face!"

And it usually ends with a laugh and smile...and as soon as you pick him up to take him to time out, he gives you a hug. No lie.
