Okay mothers...I know you're out there. I have a boy who is ALL-BOY. He is always on the go, crawling, and pulling up (as you faithful blog readers know). But I have a few questions:
What are some things you did/do with your 9 month old to engage and stimulate them?! Any ideas will do. We have books, videos, toys - thankfully the weather's been warm and we've been going outside. But what types of activities do you recommend?
Am I just being paranoid - probably - but when he stands up, he is standing on his toes...usually with his feet out. he is constantly curling his toes under and pushing up on his big toe. Is this normal?!
Okay, that's all for now. I appreciate you enduring my paranoid motherhood questions.

Don't worry about the toes thing, he will work it out as he becomes better at it! As far as being all boy, good luck, if you figure it out, let me know!!
Ideas for things to do at 9 months...hmmmm...The Johnny Jump-up saved our tooshie. Stairs are really fun (with parents supervision, of course. Bubbles. At this age, it was all about the physical side of things for Sage. It seemed like she concentrated on everything else after she tackled that. Laundry baskets. I will try to think of more.
Well, it was summer time when Sammy was 9-11 months old so it was a little easier, although (talk about paranoid) I hardly let him free on the grass. I was scared he would get stung by a bee, eaten alive by mosqitos, or even worse DIRTY! Maybe a sand/water table (you can put all kinds of things other than sand and water, rice and pots and pans in the kitchen? Sammy loved to get into my tupperware drawer. But as Sarah said, let me know when you figure out how to handle a boy. Mine is 4 and he is constantly challenging me.
