A Beautiful Fall Saturday

Guess who discovered his thumb?!

He has also begun focusing on people, things and the dogs. But yesterday he found himself in the mirror and was so curious about his own reflection.

Daddy bought some hay bails and 3 pumpkins - 1 for daddy, 1 for mommy, and for "E" to display in front of the house. Elijah wasn't sure what to think.

This is him - wide awake - bright and early. The kid refuses to sleep. Not sure what happened to our 12 hours a night baby but now he fights it until at least 10 p.m. then usually wakes up some time between 3 and 6 and flips himself over to be up for the day by 7:30. I know...we were spoiled for so long...but it's killing us!

Ahhh the thumb. It has transformed our lives(in a good way). Sure enough, as I predicted, Sadie has started flipping herself over and it is no fun at all. I had to flip her back at 4 this morning. And her afternoon nap was a wash for all the flipping.
Just when you think you have their schedule figured out, they change it on you. No worries, he will likely go back to sleeping soon. Good thing he is so cute. It makes the frustrating times more tolerable.
