But it's finally Friday and you, little man, are resting. You've decided that 9:30 is not early enough for your bedtime so the entire week we've struggled to keep you up until 8:45. we start our bedtime routine then and you're usually down by 9. We thought this would mean you'd wake up earlier...but we still have to wake you at 8 a.m. (Oh how I love that you love to sleep! THANK YOU!)
You have a new fascination with toys - especially ones that light up and play music. You love being in your exersaucer and that is the one thing that can keep you entertained the longest.
You're weighing in at 14 pounds and your belly is getting so big!
We are seeing more and more of your personality as you develop before our eyes. It's so fun to watch you become more interactive.

We can get you laughing now at the silliest things. Daddy plays his games and mommy has hers - and the most joyful sound is hearing you belly laugh. You still try to pull off your fake cough and daddy and I just laugh because you're just doing it for attention.

We are preparing for lots of visitors - Aunt Cindy and Uncle Gary are coming up next weekend and then Nanny and Poppy come the following week. They will not believe how much you've grown!
And Cutie has become your new friend. Jackson is still always by your side but Cutie has never really been around you. All of a sudden she's taken an interest in you - and your pacifier! Considering she has never played with a single toy in the 4 years we've had her, this has us baffled because she loves to chew and lick on your pacifier (now her pacifier - you are NOT getting this one back!). You watch her often and she keeps an eye on you.

Do you guys know that your son is quite advanced? I can't believe he is in an exersaucer (sp?). He is just so cute and I enjoy reading all your posts. Thanks for letting me share.
