CAUGHT YA!

CAUGHT YA!!! That's right...you had SO MUCH fun visiting Pap and Grammy's house that we caught you SMILING!!!

You are spoiled rotten, little one, but most importantly SO LOVED. When your birthmom interviewed us as potential adoptive parents she asked, "How will your families receive him? Will they accept him even though he's adopted?"

I think it's safe to say there is NO QUESTION that you are part of the family indefinitely! You have worked your way into our hearts and you are one of the most loved little boys! We are so blessed to have your sweet smiling face in our lives. We love you so much!

You loved being rocked to sleep, smothered with kisses and showered with love! Oh, and of course a shopping spree to the outlets produced your entire winter and next summer's wardrobe, compliments of Grammy (thanks Gram!). Oh, and we have a BIG surprise for football season. Just wait, Pap. He'll be a Steelers fan before you know it! (Much to daddy's dismay!)

You did well, considering the 6 turned almost 8 hour car ride. You decided to be on your own scheduled and learned that enough crying would cause us to pull over for you to get out of your seat. You didn't want to eat - you just wanted out. Stinker. We have to say a HUGE thank you to Aunt Haley for lettin gus borrow Baby Einstein DVD's! What a lifesaver! You are enamored with them - the shapes and music. We could just watch your face and see your legs kicking and know how excited you were.

Of course you decided to poop your pants only 20 minutes after we had stopped to feed you - TWICE! You stayed awake for almost 3 straight hours...and then once it got dark, you drifted off to sleep. You missed most of your daytime naps, but you still slept through the night and we had to wake you each morning. Your grandparents were amazed you slept so well!

One last try - just for kicks - won't you smile for mommy and daddy?! Not a chance, huh? At least we caught you smiling for your grandparents. We had such a wonderful visit!
