A few weeks ago, a man came from the Gideon Ministry and spoke at church about donating money to purchase bibles. He talked about giving them in honor or memory of someone. You'll find one in every hotel you stay in, they're given around the world to people who can't afford them or don't have access to God's Word.
We got a card in the mail yesterday from Miss Marcella. She donated five bibles in your name. Her card says it all:
"Dear Little Elijah,
Welcome to your new family and circles of friends who are so happy to hear of your birth! You are so loved! unconditionally, too!
To celebrate your birth, I've given bibles which will tell the story of Jesus' love, and the blessing to all who will someday read from these bibles.
Just think...because of your birth, other little children and their mommies and daddies will know about Jesus...and you! You are so special."

Thank you, Marcella. Truly - this is an honor. We pray for open hearts to read and accept God's Word wherever those bibles may be placed. Little boy, you are already making a mark on people's lives and having an impact that will last for eternity. We are humbled at how God is using you and we dedicate your life for His glory.
