Life at the Barnhouse Residence...

Relaxing in your boppy, slippers and all.

Mommy reading to you. (Thank you for the suggestion, Haley!) This book is called "My Adopted Child, There's No One Like You" - and yes, it made me cry and put you to sleep!

Still so serious, but sporting your Nike. Thanks dad!

This is for all those who don't believe you have a temper. "What a sweet little baby, so content in all his pictures." We just wanted everyone to know that even at 10 weeks old, you are already strong-willed. :)

Elijah,

Daddy bought us a new car! We've officially turned in the Maxima and upgraded to the family SUV. Why did they keep trying to sell us the minivan?! I am all about being the BEST soccer mom ever - although daddy would rather it be the best football or baseball mom ever - but I am NOT driving the minivan. I'm the Honda Pilot mom instead! :)

Mommy has been back to work a few days this week and you have been oh so good for your sitters - Miss Donna the nanny, Nana and Aunt Lindsay. Today I am home with you and we're enjoying a good day. You slept well last night - although you still think your normal bed time is midnight. And you still prefer the carseat over your crib. Whatever will we do with you, baby boy?! You will soon be outgrowing that as a sleeping mechanism. We'll take it one day at a time.
