Let Your Voice Be Heard!

I had the opportunity to attend the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, DC this past weekend. Truly, the highlight was getting up at 3:45 a.m. to be in line at 5:00 to hear President Bush speak. It was incredible - truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. We sat on the third road - about 20 feet away from President Bush and directly behind the White House staff. The secret service are just as intimidating and stoic as you'd expect. Then again, they do defend the highest profile person in the country. He joked about a more difficult job than president - Father of the Bride! Wouldn't I love to help plan that wedding?!

Tomorrow - Tuesday, February 12...it happens to be my grandmother's birthday (Happy Birthday Nanny!) but it is also an important day in our country. If you live in the state of Virginia...GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

You have the ability to make a difference. You have the opportunity to let your voice be heard. THIS IS THE TIME TO ACT. Our country has never depended upon you more. The issues are critical. There is so much at stake.
